My father was a training officer with the RAF and in a hotel in Torquay ..... I think it was being used as a hospital. The hotel was badly bombed in a raid in 1943 and my father badly injured. Can anyone help with some information on the incident please

do you have the month in 1943 or the name of the hotel ? I guess newspapers would be the best place to look, via Find My Past or the Newspaper Archive.

Do you have your father's service record?
See your other thread about your uncle for a link to details of how to apply for them.

Devon Heritage website
Hi and welcome
Lots of info on the Devon Heritage website. This should take you to hotels with bombing dates:

Hope you can find something helpful there.
