    Default William Henry Middleton

Seeking information on William Henry Middleton 2nd Battalion Hampshire regimental number 3934. He was born Sept. 6 1874 in Dudley and later immigrated to Canada around 1907.
Family legend has it that he had enlisted early, sent to India, then sent home due to being underage. He later re-enlisted and served in the Boer War. I have both his service medal and regimental number for the latter theatre of action. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There is a service record for a William Henry Middleton 1904 British Army Service Records and another for William Middleton 1899-1902 Boer war records on Findmypast which is a pay per view site licensed by the TNA to make these available online . You can buy credits which are valid for 90 days. These are the only two records which show up when using the service number when searching. Without the service number in the search there are over 1000 results.
