I am trying to get info. on my late Grandfather, Owen Parry 31/10/1882, Born in Liverpool Lancs. who served in the Boer War. I have a bible given to him prior to embarking for South Africa with the 5th. Kings Reg. & an obituary notice from his death on 12th. March 1967, See photo this mentions that he was involved in the Relief of Mafeking. Any additional information on him or his units part in that event would be greatly appreciated, thanks
