I am looking for information on the Smyth Family who lived in Plumbridge / Eden Back area of County Tyrone in 1700's and 1800's. I can trace my family back to marriage of John ( Jack ) Smyth to Letitia Blair who were married in Glenelly Meeting House in 1838. His father I think was William Smyth ? and his grandfather was John Smyth who was one of 4 brothers form that area (James Smyth,William ( Raga) Smyth, Robert Smyth)
The family line also shows my great great grnadfather Charles Smyth who married Elisa Glass Smyth and we have been told that her grandfather Alexander Glass was related to Hugh Glass who was the character who the movie "The Revenant ". If anybody can clarify this I would be grateful.
