I do believe the servant here in 1881 is Eliza.

Think we may need to go back to the drawing board with Eliza Ford b circa 1865
I agree, Geneius, but as I said up thread I couldn't definitely pin Eliza Ford down pre 1881, perhaps you'll have more luck

    Possibles

FORD, ELIZA ANN, mother's maiden name ROGERS
GRO Reference: 1865 S Quarter in TISBURY Volume 05A Page 205

    Marriages Jun 1859
    George Ford/Jane Rogers, Tisbury, 5a 397.

The above marriage cannot be right as Eliza at marriage names her father as Henry, oh deary me!

May not be the right birth reg as an Eliza Ann can be found in 1881 with parents George and Jane.

Looking at births in Wiltshire 1863 - 1867 none are a match for an Eliza with father Henry.

FORD, ELIZA, mother's maiden name DOUGHTY
GRO Reference: 1865 M Quarter in AMESBURY Volume 05A Page 177
Doesn't seem she's the one as there's this marriage
Marriages Dec 1861, Warminster 5a 277. Mary Ann Doughty, James John Ford

    FORD, ELIZA ORAM -
GRO Reference: 1866 S Quarter in OF DEVIZES IN THE COUNTY OF WILTS
No mother's maiden name - could be an illegitimate birth.

FORD, ELIZA, mother's maiden name BRYANT
GRO Reference: 1867 D Quarter in WILTON Volume 05A Page 185
This one doesn't seem to be right either as there's this marriage
Marriages Dec 1857, Wilton, 5a 433. Uriah Ford, Harriet Bryant

The above marriage cannot be right as Eliza at marriage names her father as Henry, oh deary me!
    1) It could be her graqndfather's name
    2) her mother could have remarried 'her father''s name being a combination of 2 people or she is illegit and does not know her father
    3) Henry could be a middle name by which he was known
4)The registrar wrote the wrong forename or copied Harry's father's name

Come almach we cannot let this beat us

Hi all I’m at work and just had a thought on my mums side I had a problem like this around this year and turned out they were out in India maybe Eliza was an army baby??? Will check the sites when I get home. I have also had a few men on my mums side who have used their middle names instead of their first names, hopefully I will be able to grab an hour or so tonight to take a look. Once again thank you for all your help. X

I still favour the Eliza in post #12 with grandfather Henry.
I have tried but cannot find the birth reg. of this Eliza which makes me think she may be illegitimate.

I have found the following children of the marriage

bp 25/02/1885 Harry Joseph died 1886
    ~b 4/10/1888 Alfred
    ~b 1890 Elizabeth ( aka Lizzie)
    b1892 Harry
bp 13/06/1894 Mary Ann Caroline died 1895
    *b 1897 Walter
    *b 1899 John
    *b1901 Charles
    *b 25/12/1902 Fanny Louisa
    *b 1905 Florence
    *b1907 Gladys

~ both shown on 1891 census could indicate any other children born 1884 - 1891 deceased
    * all shown on the 1911 census
