You are lucky in that George was born in Essex as Essex Records Office have digitalised all of their Parish Records and most of their wills so that they can be accessed online. ( https://seax.essexcc.gov.uk/subscriptionservice.aspx ) There is a charge but at £10 for 24 hours access to all records it is comparatively cheap.
I think that almach is correct in the initial assessment of BMD data which would give you a chance to look up the parish records for George and then hopefully other ancestors living at Maldon.
If you haven't yet done it I also suggest that you order the marriage certificate for George and Mary Ann as this should give you data such as address and fathers name of both.
The bad news for research is that the name Seaman is quite common in the Maldon District probably due to the considerable history of Maldon, Bradwell, Tollesbury and Burnham on Crouch for commercial shipping and fishing. There are still quite a few residents called Seaman living in this area.
