    I've been in touch with someone in the family who recalls the twins Sarah Mary and Mary Sarah and the surname Best. I'm waiting for the birth certificate of Alice Maud Stephens whose mother maiden name was Lee according to GRO index; talk about being confused I'm certainly that!! Can't see where the name Stephens comes in, maybe the birth and marriage certificates may clear up the confusion. Thanks again for your help
