The article at post #11 mentions Beachville being renamed Sussex Lodge post WWII.

Have taken a trip along Brighton Road, gratis Streetview, and No. 151 now known as "Beachville Court". Original property replaced with a new apartment block?"dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"

Yes, I did a search for images and thought the buildings looked too modern. A shame the original is not still there but I think I've satisfied my curiosity about what was going on for my uncle.
Off to follow up all the leads now and share with the family ..............
