    Default Carvan, Lampeter Velfry, Pembrokeshire

Hello I am having a problem identifying the above named location. My ancestors the Devonalds (Enoch Devonald - head of household - recorded as being a farmer) are recorded as living here on the 1841 & 1851 census, but I seem to have hit a brick wall establishing where this is. If anyone has any information narrowing it down I would really appreciate it. Many thanks.

There is an excellent site called coflein.co.uk which is the National Monuments Record of Wales.

From the home page select 'sites' then enter 'carvan' in the Site Name box. The first result is Carvan with a location map.

Too quick for me again Alma!
