Default Peter Candler, father and son, cordwainers

The two Peters appear to have been cordwainers in Norwich in the 18th century. Does anyone have any information on them, please?

Two Apprenticeship Indentures, via Ancestry, for Peter CANDLER of Norwich, Norfolk. Wednesday 7 November 1716 Peter CANDLER takes on as an apprentice Thomas son of Nathaniel SMITH of Breed, Yeoman, and on 19 June 1723 he takes on John son of Nicholas JONES of Clapton as an apprentice. A Peter CANDLER appears in the UK Poll Books & Electoral Registers dated 1768 as having a freehold property at Hickling which is occupied by William HALL. By the 1780 UK Poll Book & Electoral Register, Peter CANDLER is shown as at St Peter Mancroft.

Parish register entry, again via Ancestry, at Hickling, summary as follows - extra information on the actual entry:

Peter the son of John & Anne CANDLER baptised 6 December 1682.

His actual parish register burial entry is on Ancestry and confirms the details given in post 2.

Newspaper extract from Norfolk Chronicle dated 12 December 1795 which states that "Saturday last in the 79th year of his age Mr Peter CANDLER of St Giles, formerly an eminent shoe-maker of St Peter's Mancroft ......"
