I'm trying to find a marriage record, hoping it will help me confirm which of two couples with the same name is the one I'm looking for.
Census listings in both 1851 & 1861 register one of the wives as having been born in Haydon Wick, Wilts. I thought I'd look there but I can't work out which church would have been most likely.
Can anyone help?

St John's would appear to be the C of E church.

Hi. Thanks for that. I see St John's is registered there now but I should have explained better. I'm trying to find parish records for a wedding which may have taken place around 1813. I can't find any parish records for Haydon Wick at that time so I think they must be listed under a different parish.

In that case try churches in Swindon as that is the nearest town.

Did you know there's a Wiltshire marriage index on Findmypast?
