This is the only marriage I can find around the right year, so not sure about it, but although it's in Berkshire, Thatcham is only about 9 miles from East Woodhay.

Marriages June 1842, Kingsclere vol 7, page 157.
A Martha Hussey married one of three men, George Hayson, Henry Smith or Thomas Smith.
We can look on census for a likely pairing. Kingsclere was the registration district for East Woodhay.Alma

I did think that because their 'line numbers' were close on FS. Thank you again for all your help.

This is for the second time of trying! I wrote a long post, got called away to cut the meat for tea, came back, completed the post,
pressed the button to find I had been timed out! All lost! Not the first time it has happened either.
Therefore I will send it in several posts.
Firstly everything Almach has found for you is correct,as always!

Burials that are pertinent at East Woodhay
1805 Aug 25 HUSSEY Amelia inf
1823 Sep 17 HUSSEY William 31
1835 Aug -- HUSSEY Amelia 70
1836 Jan 8 HUSSEY Joseph 74
Of interest
1790 Apr 22 HUSSEY Robert 72
1797 Nov 8 HUSSEY Amy 71
There are two Baptisms, both in 1765 for a Joseph in Hampshire but neither seem right.
There are a number of trees on Ancestry all of which have chosen the Baptism in 1762 at Beenham,
Berks., the son of John & Sarah, as Joseph's. They all fail to notice, or choose to ignore, that this Joseph
was buried five days later.
I made a search in Berkshire FHS's CD of Marriages and found:-
Speen, Berkshire
1752 Oct 16 Robert HUSSEY of Speen & Amy SHEPPARD of Speen by banns
These are also on FMP
Speen [and Newbury] Baptisms and Burials are not on the IGI, nor included yet in either Baptisms or
Burials Index of Berks FHS nor in FreeReg or any other index.
The originals are of course at Berkshire RO, but there is a typed transcript at West Berkshire Library, but
they want silly money to check it. I suggest putting a post in Berkshire forum to see if there is SKS who
could help.
