Question Henry Charles Sheppard - missing

My grandfather henry charles sheppard. was born illegitimately in 1873 to martha jestina sheppard ( born 1855) . I have found martha again at her wedding to henry joseph williams in 1881.I have then lost her.
I am trying to find henry charles as a child in the 1881/91 censuses, but to no avail, All this in Chiseldon area of Wiltshire. After 30 years of search I would be grateful of any help or advice.

    Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums
As you are seeking help I have moved your post to the Wiltshire forum and given it the title Henry Charles Sheppard - missing. This should attract the attention of our sleuths who love trying to solve a mystery.

Martha Justina and Henry were actually married in the June 1/4 1880 in the Highworth registration district.
Martha's parents were James born c1781 and Ann c1809? Henry Charles is not with any of Martha's siblings in 1881/1891?

First glance on family search I'm struck by the fact that a Martha Justina Sheppard married a Henry Jabez Weeks and had a child Henry Charles Weeks baptised 1874 in Wiltshire. She didn't marry twice or anything did she therefore different names are afoot.

I read the baptism on familysearch, as Henry Charles Weeks SHEPPARD parents Henry Jabez Weeks & Martha Justina Sheppard BUT not necessarily as a married couple.

There is a birth entry which ties in with the baptism.

    Henry Charles W Sheppard
    Registration Year: 1873
    Registration Quarter: Oct-Nov-Dec
    Registration district: Highworth
Parishes for this Registration District: Wiltshire
    Volume: 5a Page: 14

    GRO has it as
    SHEPPARD,*HENRY* CHARLES*WICKS* no mmn - *

    GRO Reference: 1873 *D*Quarter in HIGHWORTH *Volume*05A *Page*1

Yes I agree once I found the birth reference. That certificate would be interesting.

He could be Weeks, Sheppard or Williams.
