I understand that my grandfather, at his own request, was buried in an unmarked grave in the churchyard of St Giles church, Tadlow.
I believe that the records are held in the Cambridgeshire Records Office.
I am wondering if anyone can verify this for me (possibly by checking with the Cambridgeshire Records Office). I live in New Zealand, so this is difficult for me to do!
My grandfather was the Rev'd Charles Benjamin Holland and died in 1950.
Will be extremely grateful if someone can assist me with this!

Have you thought about contacting the Cambridgeshire Famuily History Society. The address for their website is
www.cfhs.org.uk
Emeltee
Not sure whether that link will work so just try Googling them.

From what is said on GENUKI, Cambridgeshire Archives may have the info you need - someone must have the Lair Book (may not be the English term) for the graveyard. They should at least know who has it...
See HERE for their contact details.
