looking for info on patients on the ship when it was in cardiff greatgrandmother was a patient according to the 1891 census - how unusual was that ? she was female and a child aged 13yrs mary jane gear any idea's

There's an interest article about this ship on the BBC website, HERE
Curiously, it says that the Hamadryad was a male-only hospital, but maybe that was only in its later years...
Did you look at the other occupants on the census page?
