I am told there are records of tenancies for properties owned by the Duke of Sutherland and/or the Lillishall Company. I am particularly interested in tenants in St. Georges and Wrockwardine Wood in the 19th. century.
Does anyone know where these may be seen ?

Shropshire Archives
The info you are looking for is likely to be held by the Shropshire Archives: https://www.shropshirearchives.org.uk
You can view the catalogue on their Discovering Shropshire History site. I keyed 'Sutherland' into the Search box and got 643 results (which I have not sifted through): https://search.shropshirehistory.org...._submit=Search. On the second page, I noticed a promising-looking entry for workmen's hours in the late 19th century, and clicking on that brought up all sorts of interesting stuff.
The bad news is that most (all?) of these archived documents have not been digitised and so cannot be viewed online. You would need to contact the depository about visiting and/or arrangements for them to copy specific docs for you, for a fee.
But perhaps someone else will come along with a more specific answer - let's hope so.
Off to roost.
