    Default Jakt Bothilda Ship

I am trying to find any information on the ship my great grandfather sailed on. The name of the ship was the Jakt Bothilda. He sailed from Ystad, Sweden to Blekege(spelling in his Swedish Logbook) and back to Ystad, as a crew member, from March to October of 1891.
I've searched several shipping sites, but so far, have not found anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My G-Grandfather's name was Fredrik Wilhelm Mansson, born July 4, 1874 in Ystad.
His logbook, Sjofartsbok, numbered 849, listed him as a deckhand.
Not sure what other info. you might be looking for.

I suspect that you may have to ask a list specialising in Swedish records about lists of crew on Swedish ships...

One of the oldest collections of sites and mailing lists, and still a good place for searching for international sources, is Cyndi's List HERE. Don't worry about asking a question in english - you'll generally get an answer in english.

I see that Rootsweb (when did they become part of Anc?) has a collection o0f Swedish mailing lists, only one of which is general - see HERE. There's no mention of needing an Ancestry subscription on the Rootsweb front page.....

PS Let us know how you get on if you try either of them.
