    Default John Forbes Grant

    In the 1881 Scotland Census my Great Grandfather John Forbes Grant was listed as a Granite Manufacttory Master employing 35 men & 10 boys. Can anyone tell me the name and any information re the Granite Company he worked for or owned? There is one is one listing in the Scottish Directory's for Grant & Watt Affleck Place, if this is correct can someone give me any information re this Company

    I clicked on "Aberdeen", then selected 1880-1881 PDF and searched for 'Grant & Watt' - returned 6 "hits". You could also check 1874 onwards?

    The Watt of Grant and Watt is a George Watt, Craigie Street
