Hi,
I'm trying to find some information about my grandfather, Paul Prytherch. I do know that he and his parents and siblings lived at 137 Benjamin Road, Wrexham, about the time of WWI. I did find his father, Peter Prytherch (born about 1855) in the 1881 Wales Census - at that time Peter was a lodger at 6 Cunliffe Street in Wrexham Regis. No idea about his wife, Olive Knight (?) though I'm afraid.
My grandfather (Paul) served with the 17th Lancers during the Boer War and, along with a couple of his brothers, went on to serve during WWI.
As I mentioned before my Great-Grandfather's name was Peter Prytherch and I believe that he was married to an Olive Knight. They had quite a large family: Sam (who I believe eventually moved to Langley Prairies, British Columbia), Peter, Paul, Joseph, William, Benjamin, Thomas, Dorothy, Grace and Olive (I'm sorry that don't actually know their birth order). I'm fairly sure that some of the family eventually moved to Liverpool, England - maybe Dorothy and/or Olive?
On another website I was fairly recently directed to a Prytherch family who at that time lived at 111 Benjamin Road. I wrote to them but haven't heard anything back.
I realise that's not an awful lot of information but if anyone can help me out here I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Valerie

The following could be the birth record for your grandfather:
PRYTHERCH, Paul born March Quarter 1883 Wrexham
Reference: Volume 11b Page 300
I don't see him in the 1901 census for either Wales or England.

The following could be your great grandparents' marriage record -- if you consider that recording clerks might have mangled your gr. grandfather's name:
KNIGHT, Olive
PARRY, Petter
+ 2 others listed on record
Marriage December Quarter 1873 Wolanston Staffordshire
Reference: Volume 6b Page 201
