    Parish Burials (FindMyPast images/transcription)

    Joseph Taverner, abode Dockham, buried June 30th 1860, age 68, church Mortonhampstead Parish (calc. YoB 1792).
    Joseph Taverner, abode St. Thomas Devon, buried 15 Nov 1877, age 79, church Whitstone Parish (calc. YoB 1798)

    Default Definitely 2 different Joseph taverners

    Thanks for every ones help, I'm now satisfied there are definitely 2 Joseph Taverners and the mortonhampstead one isn't the ancestor I'm looking for. My ancestor is buried in Whitestone with his wife Frances/fanny. Still not been able to find any record of Joseph whom was according to census records born in Whitestone. I've checked and the church don't have any other records other than those on findmypast.

    Did you ever find Joseph Taverner's (wife Fanny) baptism? I have searched for many years (off and on) but no luck.
