Hi
I'm wondering if anyone can offer me advice on communicating with the Ministry of Justice. I'm in the process of putting together a letter requesting information about a crime committed in 1963. The information I am seeking has been made available by the National Archives in the past but has now been withdrawn. They advice the reason for this being the introduction of the FOIA 2000 and DPA 1998.
I'm asking is in the hope others may have had experience in this area and can offer me any helpful advice as I don't want them to be able to say no.
I have already been advised that if access is granted is will be in a private area and for a limited period which suggests I nay not be able to copy anything and may not be able to go through all that I want.
I'd be grateful for any help and advice.
