I'm looking for Margaret Bruin (Bruyn)
On freeBMD I found the death of a Margaret Bruin March 1854 (2 years before Daniel and family moved to Australia)
death was at Stockport reference 8a page 25
I have found about 8 deaths for an Edward Brewin (and various other spellings) so I am hoping that Margaret appears in both the 1841 and 1851 census records to help me reduce the number of Edwards plus to possibly provide an alternative location.
Thanks in Advance (both were deceased when Daniel their son moved to Australia).

I haven't found Edward or Margaret on UK census, perhaps they stayed in Ireland or died pre 1841

Hi, thanks, yes I have a lot of that.
I was after the English Census for 1841 and 1851 I am specifically trying to find more information on Margaret Bruin and her Husband Edward Bruyn/Bruen/Bruwen.
I am hoping to find their places of birth etc. In them.
Hence why I posted the information I have on her death above and about the 8 Edward Bruwen deaths (I need to reduce).
Kind Regards,
Wayne.

There is this one:

I would say by the age of the granddaughter Jane that this particular family were still in Ireland in 1841.
Maybe not. In 1851 the surname does look like BRUN, but later is clearly BREEN. Margaret's daughter married as BREEN in 1867, father William a Policeman.
