Default What became of JACOB MEAKINS and his wife ?

    The situation:
1] JACOB Meakins was the son of JOB and Mary and was born in Potterspury in 1843.

2] 1851 census - H0107/1737/44/7 - has Job [Ag. Lab.] and Mary along with their 7 children living at Old Stratford, Potterspury. 5 were sons - named JOB, JABEZ, JACOB, JONAH and JESSE.

3] 1861 census - RG09/928/45/7 - Jacob is still with his parents and his occupation is Labourer. Residence - Church End, Potterspury.

4] In 1862 JACOB married Susan GREEN in Potterspury. Susan was the daughter of William and Ann GREEN and was baptised in Potterspury on 11 Sep. 1842.

5] I cannot find a JACOB with wife Susan in 1871 census. There are 2 Susan MEAKINS that show in 1871 and both were born in Potterspury:
a] Susan with husband William and 4 children - living at Blackwell End, Potterspury. William is an Ag. Lab. age 31 and Susan is age 30. Their eldest child - Elizabeth born 1863. RG10/1476/50/8. I cannot find a likely marriage for this couple.
b] Susan with husband John - no children - living at Chemical Cottages, West Ham, Essex. John is a Labourer age 27 and Susan age 28. Both were born in Potterspury - RG10/1630/32/62. I cannot find a likely marriage for this couple.

    Appreciate any help here.

This is at Canning Town, West Ham, Essex, which is where the eldest child living with them was born - John aged 16.
