Alright then, whilst we are on the subject Gadwin provide free progs for Screen Capture. One, that I haven't used in recent years (hence a fuzzy memory of how it works) is Gadwin Web Snapshot.

How this works is......say you have a page of newspaper print where you have to scroll to read the entire text. To save such using F11 either requires a 'resize' to a smaller image/text, or multiple Screen Dumps. This program, IIRC, 'captures' the whole Web page which can then be pasted, as an image, into a Text document.

Anyone care to try it and Report back?

Here's another one joining the 'making a file of all these tips' people.
Especially Michelle's 'hit F11' when you lose your toolbars. (Done that more than once, and gone
    into full panic mode! )

    Thank you everyone.

I used to do a system restore!

I have found lots of other stuff but haven't tried Ken_R's suggestion. Don't know if I am game.

Here's another one I had to find the answer to today.
    It's already in my folder

If your cursor stops working when using the touch pad just press F5 + F9. Bingo!
