Can anyone throw some light on the following:
Michael Scanlon who married Mary Fourhane in Fossa, Killarney in Feb 1831/32. They had 11 children, all born in Fossa between 1833 and 1854 - Catherine, Mary, Ellen, Honora, John, Michael, Edmond, Thomas, Henry, James and Richard. I know that John and his brother Michael migrated to Australia in 1861, but at am a loss regarding the other children.
Also - seeking the parents of Michael Scanlon and Mary Fourhane. Am led to believe that both families were prominent in Fossa. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jeddah.

The Parish registers for Fossa https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0669 only cover a limited period. But have you checked for any occurrence of the name "Scanlon". Another option is to use the map to check the parishes surrounding Fossa?
Re. "... prominent in Fossa ..."
