Afternoon all,
Just a quick message to say BG got a small mention in the August edition of Who Do You Think You Are Magazine under the "Best Websites" section.
A small victory for us all, and considering the top 3 were Rootschat with over 200,000 members and over 4 million posts, The Great War Forum with 56,000 members, 1.8 million posts and a highly specialised subject, and finally Genes Reunited with over 6 million posts and circa 400,000 members, I'm personally quite impressed!
BG stands at 57,650 users and 486,000 posts (and counting), so I really feel we're doing quite well and I think it is very important to note -quite honestly- that it is the Moderators and regular posters on this site that have built that success and deserve much credit for it!
Well done and thank you to everyone from myself, Timbo and the rest of the British-Genealogy and Forces War Records teams!
Kind Regards,
Tom
