    Default Mining occupation - 'Bepearer'

    Hi all

I have come across the occupation 'bepearer' twice recently - a census return and a marrriage certificate. Both men were in mining in Wales 1911-1914 and so far I haven't found any reference to this job. Does anyone have any ideas? I thought it could be an abbreviation, maybe beam repairer. Any information would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
