    Default parish burial records

Hello, does any one out there have access to the Newborough and Eye parish burial records covering 1953/56.

    Thanks Graham.

Unless the registers have been deposited at Northants Record Office since November 2013 (when the PRs database was last updated) it would seem that the registers are still held at the local church. http://www.

If you ever travel in the direction of Peterborough it might be worth contacting the library to see if they hold local newspapers which might have carried obituary reports, detailing where someone was buried. http://www.

Depending on how much you want to spend in your quest, they do have a research service for 25 an hour.

If the burial register is still with the incumbent, you could contact him or her. There's a standard fee for searching a register (see the current Table of Parochial Fees).

Presumably you know the dates of death of the people you're interested in.
