He died in Gisborne New Zealand 1940 He was manager of the Poverty Bay Club and apparently Lord Jellicoe visited him there when he was serving as Gov general of Nz

Yes I have found this too. However it shows no next of kin. My mother told me his fathers name was Paul Pulis and his mother was Annie Seymour (this is also listed on his marriage cert.) but when i applied to Malta to get a copy of his birth certificate they found no record of a carmelo Pulis born in Malta between 1892-1900 So now i am really stuck as I can't seem to locate his parents either
