    Welcome to British-Genealogy patmoore

This is The National Archives research guide to the Crimean War but of course refers to British soldiers and their involvement.

familysearch.org has some information about French records Here and as gortonboy says, give us some information and we can have a look to see what we can find.

I don't think you can expect much from a site called British-Genealogy. However he's something you could start reading

    Mods

Wouldn't it be better to move this to the Crimean War section, rather than having it in the Boer War section, as it could be missed or confused?

    regards

    Hi.
Robert's message was meant for a Mod Sometimes I miss seeing what is obvious so a gentle hint from an observant member gets me on track!
