    Default Dr Saunders - The Great Welsh Divine

    I have been told that this gentleman is an ancestor of mine. I have found a number Of Reverend Saunders but none seem to have that appendage. He should have come from Carmarthenshire.

    The Rev Dr Saunders the eminent Welsh Calvinsitic Methodist divine died early on Wednesday morning at the residence of his son the Rev M J Saunders, Penarth. (He),,,was 61.
