I had Sarah b.1781 in Cholsey as The mother of James. Father George Bosher b.1780 - i dont know if you have looked at my tree?
There are some trees that show a James born in 1798- perhaps a little further back?
I saw Ann Bosher baptized in 1784 to Thomas Bosher and Mary in Brightwell Berkshire, thinking the age would be right but its all guess work.
This is difficult work Alma, i really appreciate your help

I do think the 1808 baptism is a little late. Not sure if you're aware Jack but the 1841 census rounded down the ages of those over 15yrs by up to 5yrs, they were usually rounded to multiples of 5. Therefore if James gave his correct age in 1841 he would have been born anytime between 1801 - 06. If Ann is his mother he was baptised aged 2 or more. Many children were baptised late, but most were 'done' early, particularly in rural areas.
Got to go now, things to do!
Catch you later, Alma
