1876-1920 Surnames beginning COP

While searching for a Copley in the Burned Records, I got so fed up with the way that Anc****y throws up irrelevant results that I started indexing the COP section. 26196 pages! Last night I finished

All the Mis-files are in the "Strays" section, the rest are in alphabetical order, with any extra info found (parents, siblings, wives, children).

I would urge anyone searching to think laterally - eg Did the clerk hear the name properly? There are Copestakes, Copesticks & Copsticks, Copperthwaites & Copperwheats ... (full list below)

The earliest birthyear is 1859. The earliest enrolment is 1876. (I think)
