    Default Hello

Hello. My name is Sharon. I have been researching my family history since the early 1990s although I did take a break of around 10 years and have got back into it this year. The vast majority of mine and my husband's family come from East Anglia. I started my research to try to expose the truth or otherwise of some family stories, I have not managed to do that but have found some equally interesting stuff that the family knew nothing about!

I am used to using forums generally.

    Welcome to Brit-Gen Sharon

Family stories can be a stumbling block or the first clue to solving a mystery can't they. Trouble is sorting out which is which!

I should take a leaf out of your book and try to let my lot have a rest from my probing and digging but I can't see it happening anytime soon.

I look forward to seeing you around the forums.

Thank you christanel for your kind welcome. I find there are natural times to take a break from the tree and come back to it refreshed, trouble is it then takes time to pick up the threads again!

Family stories can be very frustrating, we have found that on the line with the most stories there has, so far, been found to be nothing to them, whereas the line with no stories has been a gold mine!

    See you around .
