    Default Italian death records

Does anyone know their way around Italian death records? I am looking for the death record around mid 1960's for one Pietro Lugliani aka Adelmo Pietro Lugliana aka Peter Jackson. Previously Australian resident, possibly returned to Italy prior to 1960.
    Unfortunately do not know location.
    Any hints?

Do you have any more information you are able to post? Like birth year / occupation / marriage etc

    Hi genius,
He was born in Italy probably on 21st Feb 1892. No exact location known as I am unable to find naturalization papers in Australia. He was married in Australia, but I don't think she was alive when he went back to Italy. If he had died in Aus all this info would be on the death record, but he died in Italy, hence my search.

familysearch give a very informative description of Italian records. Here

The records are too early for you though, but I am learning something new every day because of other people's research questions.

Hi Christanel, Thanks for the information - I had a look just out of interest, maybe useful later when I have figured out where to look! Recently been totally involved with Estonian records which are comparatively an absolute breeze (provided you can read Estonian, Russian, and gothic German).
