I know there is at least one contributor to the Forum who is in Red Deer. I hope you're all safe.

DorothySandra..
The flooding was unbelievable in southern Alberta. The Red Deer area was spared If any one wants to see pictures they can google the Alberta floods and I am certain they will be amazed at the links. Not only was there a huge volumn of water, but the force behind it was horrendous. Its hard to believe that life in one of Canada's largest cities could be brought to a standstill for so long. My son lives downtown and the area where he lives was flooded, except for his apartment building. He was allowed back yesterday and he said it is surreal as there is no one down there since all the other buildings do not have electricity.
