    Default Cockle family tree

    Hi, Im looking for new leads on the Cockle family. The infomation I have is below:

    Richard Cockle (B1690 - D1763) married Mary Fry (B1697 - D1759), they had 4 children George (B1728-D?), Mary (B1739-D?), Paul (B1740-D?) and Richard (B1726-D1794).

    Richard married Ann Daw (B1731-D1810), they had 7 children Mary (B1758-D1794), Richard (B1760-D1806), George (B1762-D1779), Ann (B764-D?), Thomas(B1767-D1813), John (B1769-D1792) and Sarah (B1771-D?)

    Mary married Arther Tozer (B1753-D?) and had 5 children Arther (B1785-D?), Mary (B1787-D?), Richard (B1788-D?), Caleb Evans (B1792-D?).

    Richard (Marys brother not son) married twice first to Elizabeth Clarke (which im not intrested) and second to Eleanor Earle (B?-D?) and had 5 children Thomas Earl (B788-D?), Richard (B-1790-D?), George (B1794-D?), John (B1794-D?) and William (B1797-D?).

    Thomas (Richards brother not son) from what I can tell only had 1 child, I do not know his spouse, his sons name was also Thomas (B-1798-D1865), this Thomas married a Mary I believe and had only one son William B-1829-D1911), William had two children George (B?-D?) and Sarah Harriet (B1861-D1938), I do have some death & birth locations, some time in Sarah Harriets life she moved from Whitehaven England to Zeehan, Tasmania, Austrailia where as far as I can tell she had a child called Mary Eva (B1891-D1970), Mary had one child called Joan Ivy (B1925) and Joan had a son called John Reginald (B1950), whom I have made contact with since he posted the family tree where I got this info from on rootsweb.

    Thomas Earl (B788-D?) son of Richard (B1760-D1806) married twice, first time to Sarah Hill (which Im not intrested in) and secondly to Hannah Gardner (B1988-D?) they had 5 children John (B1812-D?), Sarah (B1815-D?), Richard (B1818-D?), William (B1822-D?) and Edwin (B1825).

    Richard (son of Thomas Earl) married Harriet Blandford (B1819-D1893) they had 2 children Richard (B1843-D?) and Alfred (B1848-D?)

    Richard (B1843-D?) married Issbell (B?-D?) and had 3 children Harriet May (B?-D?), Isabel (B?-D?) and Elizabeth Eveline (B?-D/)


    **because I cant spend much more time one this, Im going to make it short and brief & only mention in detail where my line comes down from**


    Alfred married Matilida Elizabeth Hudd and had 7 children Matilda Elizabeth, Harriett Eliza, Henry Alfred (B871-D1895), Richard James, Isabella Lillianley (B, Gertude Agnes and Ethel May.

    Henry Alfred married Jane Clements (B1870-D?) and had 10 children Fredrick, Elsies, Lewis Henry, Frank Stanley (B1894-D1954), Mable Frances, Thomas George, Alfred James, Frances Louisa, William E, Ernest Victor.

    Frank Stanley married Annie White and had 10 children Alfred James, Elsie Rosina, Beatrice May, Louise or Lilly, Frank, Jane, Phylilis, Gladys Mary (B1923-D2006 Nan, Ernest Victor and Eileen Mildred.

    Gladys Mary married Roy Benjamin Bryan Chidgey and had 2 children Susan Janet and Alan Brian.

    Alan married Jessica Keene and had 3 children Joeseph, Aaron and Joshuha

    Sue (my mum had me out of wedlock but kept the surname Grant from a previous marriage)

    My relatives were cockle and cripps.

    Welcome to the British Genealogy Forum. Sadly, the message that you replied to is rather old, and the author is no longer a member (you can see this from the tag "guest" under their name.
    I suggest that you begin your own thread, with an enquiry about one of your couples, giving a bit of background information that would allow your people to stand out from the crowd. Dates, locations, forenames, that sort of thing. It's a good idea to quote the source of the info you're quoting, and say where it came from.
