    Default Angus Macdonald

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could have a look for a Angus Macdonald Born 1875 Harris Inverness-shire married Effie (Maiden Name Unknown) I'm trying to find if he had a sister named Louie?

If you look at the Family Search site there are 6 Angus McDonalds born in Harris in the early 1870's

Born 8/10/1874 to Neil and Mary McDonald
Born 18/10/1874 to Donald and Effie McDonald
Born 10/1/1873 to Neil McDonald and Mary Campbell
Born 10/1/1873 to Norman Mcdonald and Mary McInnis
Born 29/7/1872 to John McDonald and Christina McKenzie
Born 28/12/1872 to William and Mary McDonald

As the first son is called Donald, the second entry looks promising.

    Hi Pennydog,

It will only show me the names of the Angus's and nothing else do I have to pay to see the rest?

    Thanks
    Emma.

Family Search is a free site - a valuable source of finding info that you can then verify from other records.

The amount of info does vary both in content and in accuracy but when you have found something on the RHS of the entry you will see a small arrow which brings a dropdown with any extra info.

Sorry I do not have any experience of Scottish records, I just put Angus's name and Harris Scotland in FS's search engine and those were the results that appeared.

familysearch.org is the site, it has recently been updated - give it a try.
