Slade Family from Dunkeswell

Is there anybody researching Robert Slade born Shepton Beauchamp farmed at Dunkeswell Devon. He was still alive in 1891 aged 87.

Dunkeswell is one of the parishes I have been given to transcribe for the 1841 Devon Census. I'll keep my eye out.

Nobody named Slade in Dunkeswell in 1841, only a locality named Slade (a farm?).

Thank you for looking for them I do know that they are there in the 1851 census.

No worries. So far, I've not had any Slade surnames in 7 parishes in Hemyock Hundred.

(Ulladulla is a long way from Dunkeswell! )

I've found the family on the 1841 census of Somerset at Shepton Beauchamp. Having looked at the 1851 census for Dunkeswell, I see that Robert's wife was named as Eunice. I think she must be a new wife as the 1841 census is as follows -

Hi thank you both. Yes Ulladulla sure is a long way from there. James Slade came out here in 1856.
Do either of you have the 1861 or 1871 census for Dunkeswell?
