I am trying to find for a friend further details of the following couples from Tralee.
James WALSH married Bridget MORIARTY, probably before 1913, and Patrick FOLEY married Margaret CONNOR, probably before 1907. Can anyone please find the marriage dates and any other information about these four people - eg birth dates and parents, census details etc? We believe Margaret CONNOR was born about 1870.

Interestingly there is also a Thomas and Timothy Moriarty down as wifes brothers at the same house,so I guess this is the 1st ones you are asking about

Familysearch for a marriage prior to the birth of daughter Bridget aged 5, so born 1906, gives a marriage in Tralee registration district Oct-Dec 1904 vol 5 page 325 where both James Walsh and Bridget Moriarty appear on the same page.

Irish Census 1901 and 1911 available for free
You can check the Irish 1901 and 1911 census online for free at www.census.nationalarchives.ie and then click through and see the actual form completed by your ancestors in their own handwriting. Here is a link to 1901 census showing Pat Foley with wife Margaret and children Mary, Margaret, Hanna and Michael at House 34 in Cromane Upper (Killorglin, Kerry)

Kerry burials free online
When you have located your family in church records and census I suggest you then have a look for their burial. Kerry local authority has a free website that can be searched by name or location or browsed if you prefer see www.kerrylaburials.ie
Locating gravestones can often help tie family connections.

The same family in 1911 is at https://www.census.nationalarchives.i..._Upper/289261/
Ages are slightly out compared to the 1901 record, but with Irish records this is often a common factor.
Note also that this may not be the family who you are looking for unless births, baptism records and marriage can be found that ties in with them.

Many thanks to pattenwalsh and JNicLiam for their helpful pointers. Not having done any Irish connections before, we weren't sure where things were.
After finding several FOLEY families in the relevant area in 1911, we asked our friend about any other pointers. Using what she told us about the children of this family, we're fairly sure that they are at House 25 in Lohercannan, Tralee: Patrick 39, Margret 37, Hannah 8, Lizzie 7, Nellie 5, Katherine 3, John 1. We also managed to find one missing sibling, Mary 13, staying with her uncle and grandma at 8 Daly's Lane.
As regards the WALSH family, pattenwalsh's first post here mentioned the correct family group in 1911. We've since also found Bridget MORIARTY in 1901, before her marriage, when she was with her parents at 1 Parkboy, Clogherbrien. At the same address in 1911, we find her widowed father, Michael MORIARTY, and the rest of his family. In this family, as with the Foleys, there are several railway jobs mentioned.
Thanks again,
John
