I often think of Vanessa. I miss her as we both had Irish publican WALSH families and at one time tried to see if there may have been a connection. I miss her smile, her coffee mug and the posts about the peregrines.

I too think of her with every 'William' I research. Seems we both had elusive Williams.

Whenever I think of Vanessa I automatically see that photograph of her holding her coffee mug.

I think it might be a little early for peregrine watching. The eggs are usually laid at the beginning of May, but I don't know how long before then the birds arrive to begin 'nesting'. (I use that word in its loosest definition!)

Via these forums some people have a way of endearing themselves to others, Vanessa was one, her friendliness and charm exuberated. You don't ever forget people with Vanessa's human touch.

Hard to believe it is a year since her death. Miss her presence as well.

I miss her too and there are other forum members who have touched our lives that we will remember for a long time to come, probably forever.

They will live on, in our thoughts and in our minds. God bless them all. xx

Well said Mutters. I also miss Vanessa and her lovely smile and coffee cup. Gone but not forgotten.
