    Post Methodist Lay Preacher

Hello, I am looking for any info on my great grandfather Albert Barker, a Methodist Lay Preacher. I only know that he was married in 1910 and was a lay preacher in West Wickham, Cambridgeshire. I am particularly interested in his church involvement. Thanks for any help.

An Albert Barker aged 28 was married under 1 year and was a Shepherd on a Farm in West wichkam, Camb's. His wife was named Miriam. This was in 1911 census.

In the 4th q. 1910, an Albert Barker married Miriam G. Bradnam in Linton R.D. Camb.'s.

    Is this the correct couple?

It would help if you knew which Circuit he was a member of when he was active. If it happened to be Haverhill then the Bury St Edmunds Branch of the Suffolk Record Office appears to have papers referring to this circuit. It may be worth contacting them anyway.
