    Default Bullions family birthplace

Can somebody with local knowledge help decipher a place name on the 1861 English census? The Bullions family came to London from the area around Perth in 1848. On the 1861 census they declare that some of the children are born in a place that looks like Fairford. I've not been able to work out what this really is. The original census can be seen here:

.. and an extract of the place name can be seen here

Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Hi Ken

    Could be Forfar?

Can't see any Bullions in Forfar in 1841 though. Some in a place called Forteviot in Perthshire.

But I see Grace Bullion age 3 in 1841 in Angus which would have been Forfarshire I think.

    So yes I think Forfar.

Forfar is in the county of Angus and is its county town.

However, I agreee - it could well be Forfar.

But I think the last letter is definitely a D (see 'Head' elsewhere on the page). Unfortunately that's as far as I've got....
