Hi I am from the land down under Australia. I am seeking possible help in finding the marriage between a John Britton (en) and an Ellen Moore maybe 1800 in Kendal, Cumbria, Westmoreland, England. Their son John Moore Britton (en) was transported to Van Dieman's Land in 1832 tried in Northamptonshire, England on his death certificate in Victoria, Australia it states that he also was born in Kendal, Cumbria, Westmoreland, England real date unknown (1810 or before) Any information on John and Ellen and any others in this family would be much appreciated as nothing in true form is known about them. Thank you for your help in advance.

Dinolan has another thread giving more detail on John BRITTON here. Please reply on that thread if you can help.
To avoid duplication of effort I am closing this thread.
