Default Searchable site for C19 weather day by day?

Hello, I'm sure there's a site where you can search historical weather data day by day, but I've no idea where to find it is anyone able to help?

    Grateful for any advice!

There is, and I've used it - but I'm blowed if I can find it now. I've been rummaging around, trying to find the pages I printed off to get the url, but so far without any luck. Perhaps someone else will know.

If it's mainly UK weather, this site might help with a fairly broad overview:

I've come across references to other sites as well, but never made a note of them. The Met Office (= Meteorological Office) has an archive, but it doesn't look like it's online - see

If you have access to the 19th century newspapers via your library card, or can get to Colindale (as you are in London) then there are often fascinating weather reports. I found a description of unseasonal snowfalls and low temperatures (in June) in 1891 and a week later my ancestor died of influenza
