Searchable site for C19 weather day by day?

Hello, I'm sure there's a site where you can search historical weather data day by day, but I've no idea where to find it is anyone able to help?

There is, and I've used it - but I'm blowed if I can find it now. I've been rummaging around, trying to find the pages I printed off to get the url, but so far without any luck. Perhaps someone else will know.

I've come across references to other sites as well, but never made a note of them. The Met Office (= Meteorological Office) has an archive, but it doesn't look like it's online - see

I found a description of unseasonal snowfalls and low temperatures (in June) in 1891 and a week later my ancestor died of influenza
