Thank you. I will. Can someone go to a specific office to get a copy (I have a step son who lives in the Birmingham area - I'm from NJ, USA) or do I need to do via the mail?

Joseph Hayward b. 1864 married Emma Heeley b. 1868 had John b. 1886, Frederick b. 1888, Henry b. 1890 and Joseph b. 1895. They lived at 39 Talbot Street.
Found an 1891 Census having them at 41 Talbot Street and a Charles b. 1827 widower at 42 Talbot Street...was wondering if this could be his dad?
Trying to find the parents of Joseph Hayward b. 1864

Found Joseph Hayward's born 1864 parent's (ordered his birth certificate) father is William Hayward and mother is Mary "Heston", "Weston" (can't read it very well) living in Arlingham. Than found family all living on Warth Farm, Arlingham, Gloucestershire with brother and sisters Edward b. 1860, Joseph b. 1865, Mary b. 1868 and Frederick b. 1871. Also next home a Clara Hayward (sister) to MaryAnn Greed...still going!

Hi Alby65
You on a roll now.
See if you can keep it going and shout if you need help.
In the early 1900's there used to be a big shop in Winchcombe called Hayward's.
Just 4 miles from Alderton.
I have a photo somewhere. I wonder if there is any link.Last edited by Richard1955; 27-06-2011 at 1:31 PM. Reason: adds
