    Hi Chris

This looks like an entry not from the IGI, but from one of the databases on the new-look version of the FamilySearch site, namely the Irish Civil Registration index. The marriage was registered in the Sligo district.

I'm afraid I haven't discovered a way to find out the spouse*, so I look forward to hearing from other members if this can be done.
*apart from sending off for a copy of the marriage certificate

    Full details are...

    name: William Albert Griffith
    registration district: Sligo
    event type: MARRIAGES
registration quarter and year: Jul - Sep 1899
    volume number: 2
    page number: 261
    digital folder number: 4195895

Have found a possible spouse ...

    name: Margaret Nelson
    registration district: Sligo
    event type: MARRIAGES
registration quarter and year: Jul - Sep 1899
    volume number: 2
    page number: 261
    digital folder number: 4195895

The same place, year, quarter, vol and page number is evident on both of these. However, I have no idea if there is more than one marriage per vol/page number (as per England/Wales marriage indexes)

Safest way to find out who William married is to order a copy of his marriage certificate.

    Ignoring the reference number:
    Marriages Sep 1899
    Griffith William Wortley 9c 469
Griffith William Bowen Woolwich 1d 2383
    Where was the Marriage Chris?

How did you do that, olliecat? Is there a way to search by district and volume/page number?

Good find, notanotherminer! That's handy having the father-in-law there. I wonder if that's how olliecat found the bride?

No quick way that I can find I'm afraid. On family search, I typed in Sligo for the place, year 1899 (ticked exact), selected marriage. I didn't enter any names. I hunted through the results looking for any marriage in the correct quarter with a matching vol/page number. I found Margaret Nelson when I reached page 14 of the results. It didn't take that long since I ignored anything that wasn't in the Sep quarter.

I didn't check the census till after.

I do wish they would add a facility to enter the page/vol number on family search.
