My GGGrandmother was Elizabeth Houghton. Her widowed father placed her with his aunt Catharine (Mrs Francis) Frowhawk. She married the farm manager's son Robin Burgess and was "sent away" to Canada. The farm in Norfolk was called "Brisley Hall" maybe. I am looking for information on the Frowhawk family and the Houghton family.

He was born in Brisley Hall according to Wiki, so i assume he was related to Bess's uncle.

Probably. Did it mention where? Acording to family lore, they "ran away" to marry in secret. Very romantic, but not documented so far.
