I am researching my Gt Gt Grandfather Peter LeBlanc who was a hairdresser, born in1791 in Guadeloupe.
He married Hannah Searle in London, England. I'd love to hear from anyone who has Peter LeBlanc in their Family Tree. I'd also love to know his route to the UK.

I also have Peter in my tree. Which of his children are you descended from?

    Hi Mutley -
I am descended from Peter LeBlanc's daughter, Mary Ann.
I'd love to hear further from you.

Hello Joco and welcome to Brit-Gen

Mutley is no longer a member of this forum so will not receive notification of your post unfortunately.

    Added: the1851 census gives Peter's age as 70 so born c1781 not 1792. HO107 piece 1567 folio 199 page 7

I'm doing an experiment, and so I apologise to anyone who receives a notification about a further post in this thread only to find it's a mod fiddling around.

I had to pick threads in forums I don't normally post in, and I'm afraid this thread got the short straw in the West Indies forum.

This is part two of my experiment.

Once again, I apologise to anyone who receives a notification about a further post in this thread only to find it's a mod fiddling around. Though I anticipate that it is for the last time.

    Thank you for your forbearance.
