    I looked up the Griffiths Valuation, but I have a different Griffiths Valuation for a Patrick Murphy (father of james) and he is shown as the occupier of a house and a small amount of land in the townland of Glenaguile. This is circa 1850 - so did he survive the famine or was he evicted in 1851? In the evaluation column his "Total Net Annual Value" seems to be quite substantial. James around this time would have been about 15 - would he have held land?
